A night in Padang finished the tour. Sad to say good bye to Dedy, but he was keen to get home to meet his new baby daughter who was born a couple of days earlier. We successfully fended for ourselves for a night in Padang, then on to Cubadak Paradiso: an island off Padang where we spent our last few nights on Sumatra. Cubadak is run by a French couple and a Kiwi couple who seemed to be having a long-standing feud. Fortunately not our problem. The food was spectacular and the resort was a great place to end our trip in Sumatra.
