The Gardens By The Bay are 100-odd hectares of gardens on the south coast of Singapore. Unfortunately the Singapore garden show was on, and it was Saturday so humanity was out in force - we didn't last long. Coming from a country where people are quite good at making nice gardens, we (unkindly) giggled our way through the amateurish garden show, but the main gardens are spectacular, as is the view from the top of the fantastic Marina Bay Sands hotel.
